What a great concept! I was the Founder and CEO of Empirics, a successful Data & Analytics business, which I ran for around 18 years, from 2004-2022, growing to over 100 staff with offices in 5 Australian states plus India and the UK. We specialised in helping companies get full value from all their data assets across their business, and became experts in the highly regulated superannuation industry, and also in professional sport analytics (esp. AFL). I sold this business to an ASX 100 firm in 2022, and negotiated my exit. I have taken a break, completely completely failed to improve my golf(!) and am now ready to bring all this expertise to the fore to help almost any company who needs to start, accelerate or review their data strategy and usage across their business. I'm looking for short or medium term contracts (up to say 12 months), but am always open to considering other options. I am highly energetic, love being a people leader, and am comfortable in talking data at all levels from Board to C-suite to operational teams. I am highly literate, highly numerate, highly approachable and very outcome focused - I love leading projects and leading teams, and am ready to commence immediately.
