Job description

  • Skilled writer who can conduct interviews with C-suite/industry experts, research thoroughly and write engaging long form content.
  • The content will be read by a knowledgeable audience, seeking detailed information and insight into fundamentals of the industry, as well as emerging tailwinds and pressure points changing the landscape.
  • Some of the content will be broad in focus; some will be hyper targeted, with actionable insights.
  • The content will form part of the company’s Digital Education Library, and operate as a critical part of the marketing funnel.
  • The content must be thorough, professional, insightful and credible.

Deliverable(s)

  • 3-4 articles a month, approx 850-1500 words each.
  • Option to create a content series if an individual article is substantial enough to warrant multiple articles.

Work Cadence

Key meetings can happen online. The high level process is outlined below: 1) Topic discussion and ideation (30mins) 2) Writer crafts interview questions and shares with team lead 3) Conduct interview (1 hour) 4) Send first draft 5) Revisions and edits

Industry Experience Required

Construction industry or SaaS experience / knowledge helpful but not essential. The critical factor is the ability to extract information from an interviewee and a knack for digging to find critical information, pertinent insights and intriguing threads. This information must then be translated into easy to understand and engaging prose.

Ability to follow the most intriguing points
