Job description

This fast-moving, global team is initiating a vendor-led discovery to baseline their European data and reporting landscape. This exercise will assess current maturity, highlight gaps against global standards and shape a roadmap for long-term reporting integration into the Global Data Hub. The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in orchestrating this discovery, driving alignment across stakeholders and ensuring the outputs are both actionable and scalable to other regions.

The team need 2 senior-level Business Analysts (principal-level) with consulting-grade rigor (think McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or top-tier data consulting backgrounds) who can:

  • Uncover gaps and inefficiencies in Europe’s reporting and data landscape.
  • Design and establish frameworks that baseline maturity and highlight opportunities.
  • Prove out high-impact reporting improvements quickly, delivering real business value.
  • Scale insights into a phased roadmap, aligned with global standards and the GDH.
  • Drive leverage; spotting where better data + reporting processes can multiply impact and enable smarter decision-making.
  • Embed within teams; ensuring frameworks, metrics, and practices are understood, adopted, and repeatable.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead discovery across Europe to map the reporting and data landscape.
  • Benchmark against global standards, identifying gaps and priority areas.
  • Partner with stakeholders, COEs, and vendors to align on critical reports, metrics, and platforms.
  • Define and document maturity grading, root causes, and recommendations.
  • Translate findings into a clear, actionable roadmap with phased milestones.
  • Develop reusable frameworks and templates that scale to other regions (UKI, Inside Global, Asia).
  • Act as the “change agent” ensuring teams adopt new processes, and leadership has clear visibility.

Note: you will have a senior data analyst as part of your team to drive granularity at the data level.

About the Team + Work Arrangement

The core team is based in the US (primarily on the West Coast, with some members on the East Coast). The right Maestro will deliver seamlessly, without geographical location becoming a constraint.

They’ll need to confidently drive the project forward and ensure that working from Australia is never seen as a barrier. Availability for key team meetings (some of which may fall at less-than-ideal hours) is essential. At the same time, setting clear boundaries and establishing healthy working patterns will be critical to long-term success.

Deliverable(s)

A baseline of Europe’s current data and reporting maturity, identifying gaps against global standards and documenting root causes. A phased roadmap with reusable frameworks, key interim reporting solutions and templates that can be scaled across other regions.

Client Desired Outcome

  • This role is about clarity, impact, and scale. You’ll bring structure to an ambiguous landscape, drive alignment across diverse stakeholders, and lay the foundation for Europe (and beyond) to move toward a data-driven, globally integrated reporting model.

  • You’ll have a strong vendor team to plug into and scope to bring in additional support if needed. This is not a one-off; it’s an ongoing transformation journey where your frameworks and roadmaps will shape how the global business measures, manages and drives performance.

Client Non-Negotiables

To succeed in this role, you will need strategic vision with executional drive; you are equally comfortable setting a roadmap at the highest level and rolling up your sleeves to solve day-to-day challenges. You bring structured problem-solving and clear communication, turning complexity into simple, actionable insights that align diverse stakeholders. With strong influencing skills, you act as the glue across teams, driving adoption of new processes and embedding change smoothly. Above all, you are adaptable, resilient and collaborative, thriving in ambiguity while ensuring momentum and results never stall.

Reason 1:

Proven Facilitator with 15+ Years of Experience

I bring over a decade of experience designing and facilitating leadership development, organisational transformation, and cultural change programs across SMEs and global organisations. With more than 4,500 hours of executive coaching and facilitation under my belt, I know how to engage diverse groups, simplify complex topics, and leave participants with practical, actionable tools. My style is interactive, story-driven, and tailored to the audience — ensuring sessions are not only educational but also energising and memorable.

Reason 2:

Skilled at Translating Emerging Tech into Practical Adoption

In my transformation work, I specialise in helping leaders and teams bridge the gap between strategy and execution which often means guiding them through new tools, systems, and ways of working. I’ve led cross-country digital transformations, translated abstract concepts into everyday practices, and supported executives through mindset shifts. I work with ChatGPT on a daily basis, and I excel at making cutting-edge technology feel accessible, relevant, and exciting for non-technical professionals across functions like marketing, HR, and operations.

Reason 3:

Global Perspective and Flexible Delivery

Having worked across education, tech, and professional services in multiple countries, I bring a global perspective and sensitivity to cultural nuance that aligns well with running interactive sessions for international teams. I’m comfortable facilitating across time zones, adapting delivery styles, and creating engagement whether virtual or in-person. My ability to connect quickly with participants, balance strategic insight with practical application, and design reusable learning materials ensures this project achieves both immediate impact and long-term value.

Proven End-to-End Delivery Across Complex, Multi-Stakeholder Projects

I have successfully managed global operations and product launches at NON and Milwaukee Power Tools, coordinating dozens of stakeholders and ensuring projects were delivered on time and fully compliant. I know how to translate strategy into actionable plans, drive execution, and keep every train on the tracks.

Reason 2:

Researching the Unknown and Creating Clarity

During my MBA, I led consulting projects that required researching unfamiliar markets, developing entry strategies, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. I extended this further at NON, where I executed international market entries into Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the UK, and Canada—transforming research and strategy into practical operational execution.

Reason 3:

Startup Hustle with Enterprise Discipline

I helped scale NON from $1.5M to $5M in revenue while managing global supply chains, product launches, and cash flow with limited resources. I bring both scrappy, hands-on problem-solving and enterprise-grade discipline, making me the kind of “force multiplier” that can bridge ambition with delivery.

Reason 1:

I have extensive Global experience designing and facilitating learning experiences that are relevant, practical, creative, interesting, and engaging. This includes delivering technical and new systems training to different audiences and making it useful and relevant to them. I have also developed multiple programs that were taken and delivered by other presenters (including running train the trainers and presentation skills training).

I have also designed and delivered a lot of virtual learning, which requires very different design and delivery considerations compared to in-person (you can't just take an in-person session and deliver it virtually). There are pros and cons of both mediums of course, but I like that virtual delivery opens up a whole group of tools that can be used to bring content and ideas to life.

Reason 2:

My presentation style is energetic and adaptive to different groups. I love the challenge of helping groups understand new content, finding different ways of positioning or explaining ideas so everyone 'gets it'.

Here's some recent client feedback on workshops I have run:

“The feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive. Two heads of departments have told me that their team members said it was the best training they have had since joining us.”

Head of People Operations, FinTech

"Her facilitation style was dynamic and intuitive, she was highly skilled at reading the room, knowing exactly when to shift gears, explore new ideas, or dive deeper into critical areas. She helped us reframe challenges and identify opportunities we hadn’t considered."

CEO, Not for Profit

Reason 3:

For most of my career I've worked with distributed teams and Global teams. I'm used to the asynchronous style of work and the high level of communication flexibility that comes with this dynamic. I embed myself quickly into teams and work closely with them to co-design the best way for us to all work together to get done what we need to. This includes setting up rituals and cadences that work for everyone as much as possible... even when inevitably that requires a few strange timed workshops or meetings.

Reason 1:

With over 10 years of consulting experience at Jacobs, KBR, and Clear Ridge Consulting, I have led complex projects where I assessed reporting frameworks, regulatory submissions, and capital planning maturity. While my focus has been on the water, energy, and infrastructure sectors, the same consulting-grade methods I use such as benchmarking against established standards, diagnosing gaps, and building phased roadmaps are directly transferable to assessing Europe’s reporting landscape. I bring the structured thinking and analytical rigor required to turn ambiguity into actionable strategy.

Reason 2:

I have a strong record of translating analysis into frameworks that deliver real outcomes. For example, I have developed business cases that underpin billion-dollar infrastructure decisions and regulatory submissions that shape long-term pricing strategies. In each case I ensured recommendations were not only evidence-based but also practical, adopted, and repeatable. This experience equips me to help design scalable frameworks and reporting processes that can be rolled out across Europe and beyond.

Reason 3:

My career has involved collaborating with diverse stakeholders from government leaders and regulators to engineers and technical specialists, often in high-pressure, cross-disciplinary environments. I thrive on building alignment where priorities differ and on adapting frameworks to different regional and organisational contexts. While I have not worked directly within Europe’s reporting systems, my track record demonstrates I can quickly learn a new landscape, apply structured methods, and embed lasting change. This adaptability ensures I can integrate seamlessly with your global team and deliver results from the outset.

1. Proven Maestro of AI Strategy and Operationalisation

I have led data and AI strategy and governance initiatives for major financial institutions across the Asia-Pacific region, from both an adoption, value creation and technology perspective. I’ve worked directly with CEOs, CIOs, CDOs, and CTOs to identify value, consider the human element, and the implementation considerations to support the rapid operationalisation of AI offerings that deliver measurable impact. I have worked internationally, working extensively with US, India and China teams to deliver programs. This experience has equipped me to identify opportunities for agentic AI workflows, embed them within teams, and scale them across organisations—exactly what this role demands.

Reason 2:

2. Major Consulting Leadership and Global Transformation Experience

My career spans leadership roles at IBM, EY, and Sia Partners, where I’ve led complex, multi-year transformations valued up to $100M. I’ve delivered strategic programmes that progressively deliver value. This has includes marketing optimisation, process optimisation, data simplification, cloud migration, and regulatory compliance. I’m comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting direction, and diving deep to solve tough problems—skills that are essential for driving agentic AI adoption in a fast-moving, global team. I worked in a QSR early in my career, and understand the effort and impact of marketing, supply chain (including ordering and last minute stock outs), recruiting and staff rostering, sales analysis and ordering upsells.

Reason 3:

3. Architect of Scalable, AI-Enabled Platforms

I founded and led the development of a cloud-native Consumer Data Right managed service, used by multiple large banks. This platform was built to meet stringent regulatory, data protection and cybersecurity standards while delivering scalable, consent-driven data sharing. I’ve also led the creation of enterprise capabilities and sustainable processes globally. These experiences demonstrate my ability to build repeatable, AI-enabled systems that integrate seamlessly with human teams and deliver long-term value

Reason 1:

I have been a CIO and CISO for many years and now consult in fractitional roles. I have many years of technology leadership experience, which makes me a very good fit for the role. A lot of my role as a CIO was understanding:

  • how the business currently operates
  • how it needs to operate
  • assess where are the gaps in people / process / technology
  • improve/transform processes and ways of operating where there are significant deficiencies and where upside opportunities present themselves. The objective is for technology to be proactive, always aligned with the business goals / priorities and operating within commercial constraints.

One of my recent roles was doing exactly this, for 3 months working alongside Fourier Consulting (Saurav and his team), who I partner with.

As a senior technology leader with years of operational experience (CIO / CTO / CRO), I find this provides significant and immediate practical value to clients compared with "career consultants" (no disrespect intended).

Reason 2:

At my level I am very comfortable bridging strategy, operations and emerging technology, and have a good working knowledge of AI and it’s applicability. I am also very comfortable managing deliverables, driving to outcomes, managing stakeholders and vendors, and meeting target timeframes.

My cyber expertise is an added bonus - there is a lot of hype around AI, and the governance aspect is very important, particularly when you're dealing with sensitive data and meeting regulatory requirements/expectations.

Reason 3:

As mentioned above, in addition to running my own consulting practice, I've recently started partnering closely with Fourier Advisory (https://fourieradvisory.com.au/) as a Managing Director in Fourier’s Sydney Office, leading the Cyber, Data & Security Practice.

Fourier has significant experience and a strong track record delivering end-to-end transformation solutions across many industries. Fourier has specific expertise in digital and AI transformation, cyber, process re-engineering and portfolio delivery.

Fourier staff are applying for both the senior PM and AI Strategist roles, given their broad experience delivering transformation initiatives. There is significant upside in appointing a team to these roles, who already know each other and are already working together successfully delivering business transformation and AI projects. A team approach also provides opportunity to adjust working hours for each team participant to leverage their individual experiences and seniority. As opposed to appointing individual contributors.

Reason 1:

Proven "Zero to Shipped" Execution in Complex, High-Stakes Environments: My 20+ years of executive leadership consistently demonstrates the ability to take strategic visions from conception to successful delivery, especially in environments demanding both "startup-level hustle and enterprise-grade discipline. At Airservices Australia, I didn't just manage projects; I led an enterprise-wide transformation that delivered over $120M in savings in 18 months and spearheaded the $3.2B national critical infrastructure investment program, which included groundbreaking Digital Twin implementations. This experience confirms my capacity to "own end-to-end delivery of multiple product initiatives, keep every train on the tracks, and ensure non-negotiable deadlines are met with precision in safety-critical, highly regulated settings.

Reason 2:

Strategic Force Multiplier with Deep Tech & AI Acumen: This role calls for a force multiplier who can translate strategy into actionable plans and drive alignment. My background leading Corporate Strategy engagements (e.g., Ergon Energy, Stanwell Corporation) and IT & Digital Strategy projects (Qld Urban Utilities, SEQ Water), combined with direct experience in AI-based predictive maintenance platforms and AI/Tech Strategy leadership, positions me perfectly to be that "Maestro." I thrive in ambiguity, can zoom out to set direction and dive deep into the weeds to solve tough problems, effectively aligning cross-functional teams (engineers, designers, stakeholders) and ensuring the vision truly becomes a reality, with leadership having zero surprises.

Reason 3:

Global, Remote-First Operating Cadence with Unwavering Accountability: Having operated in senior leadership roles within global organizations and frequently presented at national and international industry conferences on complex transformations, I possess the inherent discipline and self-management to deliver seamlessly, without geographical location becoming a constraint. My experience advising Defence and Government on complex procurement and capability uplift, coupled with my disciplined approach as an Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force Reserves, instills the "unwavering accountability" and "enterprise-grade discipline" required. I am adept at setting clear boundaries while ensuring availability for crucial global meetings, confidently driving projects forward from Australia and ensuring progress without needing hand-holding.

Reason 2:

Start up experience

At NON, I scaled the business from $1.5M to $5M revenue by building critical systems like S&OP and cash flow management from scratch. 1. End-to-End Product Delivery with AI/SaaS Project Management Mastery

In my current role in Program Management & Operations at KnowMio, I'm managing multiple concurrent product initiatives for an AI Intelligence platform, owning delivery timelines from conception through market launch. I've successfully translated strategic vision into actionable project plans with clear milestones across SaaS/PaaS product development, coordinating cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. My project portfolio includes managing AWS partnership integrations, global market expansion rollouts, and enterprise AI implementation projects - all delivered on schedule while maintaining quality standards. My hands-on experience managing complex technical product builds with consumption-based models demonstrates my ability to keep multiple trains on the tracks simultaneously.

Reason 2:

2. Risk Mitigation & Stakeholder Alignment Across Complex Deliverables

My project management approach consistently identifies risks early and solves problems fast to maintain momentum. At Eratos, I managed transformational project deliverables that grew the customer base to 38+ countries while coordinating stakeholder groups of 30+ participants across government, research, and industry sectors. At MorningGroup, I oversaw multi-jurisdictional project delivery across three continents while conducting C-suite leadership and achieving strategic exit on schedule. Reason 1:

Program delivery and practice leadership - I built and led Thoughtworks' Australia Data and AI practice from the ground up, and we tripled the business over two years by focusing on both strong delivery and smart growth. Leading that practice meant orchestrating multiple AI initiatives simultaneously, developing our delivery methodologies, and building teams that could handle complex technical challenges across different industries. That experience of scaling a practice from zero while maintaining high client satisfaction taught me how to manage the complexity and moving pieces that come with large-scale AI programs - and gave me a real appreciation for how important it is to balance ambitious growth with solid execution.

Reason 2:

Navigating the tricky stuff that keeps leaders up at night - AI projects can be scary for big brands because there's so much that can go wrong - privacy issues, biased algorithms, regulatory headaches in different countries. I've developed a good instinct for spotting potential problems before they blow up, and I know how to have those uncomfortable conversations with stakeholders about risks while still keeping everyone focused on moving forward. I'm not afraid to be the person who asks the hard questions.

Reason 3:

Bringing out the best in diverse teams - I have a knack for figuring out what makes each person tick and creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their ideas and concerns. Whether it's helping data scientists work through tricky technical problems, supporting engineers during those inevitable late-night debugging sessions, or getting business folks excited about new AI possibilities, I focus on building trust and keeping communication flowing. I've found that when people feel heard and valued, they're much more likely to speak up about potential issues or brilliant solutions - which is exactly what you need when you're dealing with something as nuanced as AI development.

Reason 1:

I turn vision into shipped outcomes—fast—and at scale.

  • Took multiple Accenture tech consulting practices (Technology Strategy & Advisory, Cloud Consulting, Data-led Transformation, Metaverse) from zero to ~$1B annual revenue with ~30% YoY growth, building the operating model, GTM readiness, and delivery rhythms end-to-end.
  • In delivery trenches, cut a major telco’s product launch cycle from 14 → 4 weeks (-75%) and reduced costs by ~40%, by re-engineering release pipelines and automating product-catalogue configuration.
  • Managed $40M+ annual program budgets and shipped complex CRM/Billing/Product transformations with teams of 600+, proving deadlines and budgets are non-negotiable in my execution model.

Reason 2:

I’m the cross-functional “force multiplier” who keeps every train on the tracks.

  • Orchestrated 1,000+ consultants across 6 market units to launch and scale new offerings; aligned leaders on KPIs (pipeline health, ADR, mix, profitability) and synchronized account planning so squads stayed focused and accountable.
  • Built executive BI/analytics dashboards and integrated governance across Salesforce + SAP, giving leadership zero-surprises visibility on milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ran multi-organisation programs (Airtel, Vodafone) and resolved blockers at speed—e.g., automated Vodafone’s channel commissions for 2,000+ sellers / 5,000 distributors, cutting manual effort by ~60% and accelerating payout cycles.

Reason 3:

I thrive in ambiguity with startup hustle + enterprise-grade discipline—across time zones.

  • Stood up new capabilities without a playbook: designed operating models, mobilised talent, secured $5M in acceleration funding, and delivered the first wins quickly to build momentum.
  • Led cross-region programs across APAC, Oceania, Japan, MEA, LATAM—setting crisp cadences (async reporting + focused rituals) so geography never became a constraint.
  • Balanced zoom-out strategy (practice design, portfolio KPIs) with zoom-in execution (scope control across 37,000+ day release scopes, risk mitigation, dependency management)—the “hands-on strategist” this founding team wants.

Reason 1:

I’m someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. I know how to take a messy project with moving parts and turn it into something structured, executable, and moving at pace. I’m not waiting around for perfect instructions, I get stuck in, figure it out, and push things forward. If there’s a blocker, I remove it. If there’s ambiguity, I bring clarity. That’s what I do.

I’ve spent years stepping into high-growth, high-stakes situations where time and focus are critical. From startups scaling fast to operational turnarounds, I know how to keep everyone aligned, energised, and accountable. I bring urgency, commercial thinking, and calm under pressure and I do it without drama and a sense of fun.

Reason 2:

I’ve led delivery on large-scale projects and built operational systems from scratch across multiple industries. Whether it’s launching a new product, reworking a go-to-market plan, or getting a cross-functional team on the same page, I know how to lead from the front. I don't just manage timelines, I make sure what's being delivered actually lands and sticks.

What sets me apart is that I blend strategy with execution. I know how to zoom out and shape the roadmap, then dive into the weeds and make sure every piece is moving. I’m comfortable managing engineers, creatives, stakeholders—you name it. I know what needs to happen, by when, and I make sure it does.

Reason 3:

I’ve worked with distributed teams across time zones before, including the US. I know what it takes to make remote work seamless—clear comms, decisive leadership, and staying ahead of the curve. I’ll show up when needed, manage expectations, and create the structure the team needs to stay on track without constant chasing.

But I also know the importance of sustainability—setting boundaries that support long-term delivery without burnout. I’m used to working independently and building trust quickly, and I bring maturity, pace, and structure to teams that need to move fast without falling apart.

  • Design and establish frameworks that baseline maturity and highlight opportunities.
  • Prove out high-impact reporting improvements quickly, delivering real business value.
  • Scale insights into a phased roadmap, aligned with global standards and the GDH.

A baseline of Europe’s current data and reporting maturity, identifying gaps against global standards and documenting root causes. A phased roadmap with reusable frameworks, key interim reporting solutions and templates that can be scaled across other regions.

Data Strategy, Corporate Strategy

To succeed in this role, you will need strategic vision with executional drive; you are equally comfortable setting a roadmap at the highest level and rolling up your sleeves to solve day-to-day challenges. You bring structured problem-solving and clear communication, turning complexity into simple, actionable insights that align diverse stakeholders. With strong influencing skills, you act as the glue across teams, driving adoption of new processes and embedding change smoothly. Above all, you are adaptable, resilient and collaborative, thriving in ambiguity while ensuring momentum and results never stall.
