Terms of Use for the Maestro Site: Client Provisions

Joining as a Client

  1. Clients must register with Maestro and provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during the registration process, including company details, authorised representatives, and payment information.
  2. By registering, Clients confirm their authority to act on behalf of their organisation and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of Maestro.

Setting Up Projects and Scope of Work

  1. Clients are responsible for defining clear and detailed project briefs, including deliverables, timelines, expected outcomes, and required qualifications of Talent.
  2. Any amendments to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing with the Talent and notified to Maestro.
  3. Clients acknowledge that Maestro facilitates the introduction of Talent but does not guarantee the performance or outcomes of the services provided by the Talent.

Client Conduct

  1. Clients shall conduct themselves professionally and ethically in all interactions with Talent, Maestro, and other users of the Maestro platform.
  2. Clients must adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to their projects and engagements.
  3. Clients shall not engage in any behaviour that could harm the reputation of Maestro or its Talent, including but not limited to unlawful acts, fraudulent behaviour, or unprofessional conduct.

Conflicts of Interest

  1. Clients must disclose any conflicts of interest that could affect their engagement with Talent, or the services provided through Maestro.
  2. Maestro reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Client’s access to the platform if such conflicts are deemed to compromise the integrity of the engagement or the Site.

Limitation on Use of Talent and Maestro Services
Clients shall not:

  1. Solicit or engage Talent introduced through Maestro for independent arrangements outside the Site without prior written consent from Maestro.
  2. Use the services of Talent or Maestro for unlawful purposes, misrepresentation, or any activities that violate Australian laws or regulations.
  3. Misuse the Maestro Site by posting false, misleading, or inappropriate project briefs.
  4. Clients acknowledge that Talent provided through Maestro operates as independent contractors, and the Client assumes responsibility for managing and supervising the Talent during the engagement.

Confidentiality of Information

  1. Clients agree to keep all information obtained through Maestro, including Talent details, strictly confidential.
  2. Clients must not use confidential information for any purpose other than fulfilling the obligations of the engagement.

Termination and Remedies

  1. Maestro reserves the right to terminate the Client’s access to the Site or any active engagements for any breach of this clause.
  2. Any violation of the terms, including bypassing Maestro’s services to engage Talent independently, may result in legal action, recovery of fees, or other remedies available under law.
  3. Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maestro and its Talent from any damages, losses, or claims arising from the Client’s breach of the terms or misuse of the Site.

By joining Maestro and initiating projects, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the provisions outlined in the terms, ensuring their compliance and commitment to professionalism, integrity, and the fair use of Maestro’s Site and services.
